GPA calculator Anna University formula explained

GPA  = Σ (credits × grade points) ÷ Σ credits       (one semester)
CGPA = Σ (credits × grade points) ÷ Σ credits       (all semesters)
Percentage = CGPA × 10

Example: a second-semester student with subjects of 4, 4, 3, 3, 2 and 1.5 credits, graded A+, A, O, B+, A+ and O, gets (36 + 32 + 30 + 21 + 18 + 15) ÷ 17.5 = 8.69 GPA, which is 86.9% by Anna University's rule. Faculty at affiliated colleges in Coimbatore and Madurai often remind students that labs with 1.5 or 2 credits move the GPA more than they expect.

How do I calculate GPA for Anna University sem 2?

Exactly like any semester: enter that semester's subjects with their credits and grades. To get CGPA after sem 2, add sem 1's GPA and credits in the optional fields.
